In the rolling green hills of rural Wisconsin sits an old barn. Filled with character and charm this barn played host to family, friends, and an eager couple as they exalted in the union of a newly formed family.
The soundtrack is extra special since it was performed by close family friends on cello and guitar.
Dusting off the ol' blog. Sorry for not giving it the attention I should have for a while.
Here is a very special wedding film from a while ago. My brother's. I pulled double duty (and had some fantastic help) to make this come together but I sit down every so often to reflect on this amazing day. Now they are on to a new chapter...
This post is a little different than what everyone is used to but we have been working with the South Dakota Retailers Association to produce pieces that highlight the faces and opportunities behind owning a business.
As a business owner myself, this project has helped me identify exactly what I love about what we do and how we can better serve our clients. It is exhilarating and terrifying at the exact same time.
This is a piece we shot last week out in Rapid City and is currently airing on various stations but a longer web version will be coming soon.
This was all kinds of fun to make but nothing compared to watching my sister and her new husband grow in their relationship. I have now made several trips to their house for mid week suppers, holidays, and game nights. Looking back on these are always so fun.

My brother and I have always been very close. Growing up we spent a lot of time working side by side on the farm so it meant a lot to me when we started collaborating on his engagement film. I really love this engagement film as it is loaded to the gills with fantastic love and pure joy.
I hope you enjoy this!

It is always kind of interesting to blog about a wedding film after it has been out for a while because you get to revisit not only a wedding but a whole time frame. Snow on the ground is much more magical when you look at it in the heat of June rather than the middle of February.
We have officially dove into the wedding season now so expect many more updates. For now, you can cool down with Kyle and Jessica's gorgeous winter fairytale.
